Seher Abbasi

Founder, President, Neuroscience Tutor, and Content designer

I am a senior at Princeton High School and plan on pursuing neuroscience in college, further research, and potentially a career. My interest in science goes back to when I was around 9 years old and my younger brother had sleep apnea. I was confused, and at the time I had questions about science, health, and medicine. Ever since then, I have always enjoyed the evolving world of science and all that it has to offer mainly because there is always something new to learn. As a student growing up in my elementary and middle school years, I moved across countries (and schools) multiple times, which enabled me to encounter the limitations in various international education systems. When I moved to Princeton, I found my passion back into neuroscience and dedicated the next 3 years of my high school career researching, working with professionals in the field, and experiencing the power of research-based interactive learning. I wanted to share this experience with those struggling through the limitations like I once did. Therefore, I decided to start this project and work with schools both internationally and locally using visual aides and interactive activities to help make science fun. I hope to spark some passion and curiosity among kids and help provide a platform to motivate students for neuroscience.

Krelyn Zacarias

Spanish Translator

Hi! My name is Krelyn Zacarias, and I am currently a senior at Princeton High School. I have always become fond of science and the benefits that come within it. With interactive learning, children all of the world are able to learn more with hands on learning. For me, Astronomy is a field of science I fell in love with. The stars may seem small in the sky, however they withhold a lot of energy!

Hillary Allen

Diversity in Science Tutor

Hello! My name is Hillary, and I am a junior at Princeton High School. My interest in science sparked in my fifth grade science class, and it’s had a special place in my heart ever since. Growing up, I was always very curious; I loved to ask questions and yearned to understand how things worked, and science allowed me to do that. As I got older, and learned more about the world, I grew a passion for helping people. Neuroscience is the perfect combination of my love for science and my love for people. I believe that every child should have an equal opportunity for success, and that an inspiring, informative, and engaging education is fundamental to that opportunity. I grew up in an environment that fostered my educational needs and my belief in myself to pursue a career I am passionate about. I hope that with Scidestination I can help increase the availability of interactive education, spark a passion in other young kids, and allow them to believe that they have the ability to be successful in any future they choose.
